STRATEGIC DATA SCIENCE

With our Strategic Data Science offerings, we aim to empower climate finance influencers by improving evidence-based decision-making at the transactional and strategic levels.  In the course of our work, we’ve learned that the best way to achieve our client’s goals is through deep and efficient collaboration. We delve in deeply at the start of a project to align on the root issues and questions to address, and then, we maintain an efficient cadence of communication throughout the contract. This approach often reveals early insights and a refined direction that leads to better efficiency and satisfaction throughout the project.

Global Commons Alliance Accountability Accelerator

We have had the pleasure of working with the team at Global Commons Alliance for the past few years as they aim to build the corporate accountability space for nature-based investments. We delivered a Nature Accountability Tracker to provide an exploratory that gave the first-ever eco-system view of who is doing what and how they are connected in this space. We also identified the adjacent” possible space that could be contacted and encouraged to expand their work to Nature Accountability. This project was presented at COP 28 and we continue to partner with Global Commons Alliance by building by adding more out this space through a more targeted geographic strategy as they look to grow this nascent important space.

Elemental Impact

When we first launched our co-investor tracker, we were surprised to see Elemental Excelerator as one of the most central co-investors in the climate tech eco-system. This was surprising because the size of their portfolio is relatively small compared to many others, but their unique investment thesis helps them stand out as one of the most important players in this field. Our engagement with Elemental Impact has been focused on supporting their investment thesis with evidence that their work is not only driving more equitable access to critical climate tech solutions but is also good business by providing data-driven stories to their communications. We worked with their CEO and marketing team to support everything from keynote presentations to funding proposals to digital communications. Through this work, Elemental has been able to advocate for timely catalytic funding for these technologies to ensure they survive and get to deployment.
